Victoria B’s Hands: What do they reveal?

Please note: The following observations are simply from having seen a picture of Victoria Beckham’s hands and these observations are more a teaching aid for those interested in what certain things in their own hands mean, rather than fact regarding Victoria Beckham. I have never met Victoria Beckham and do not know anyone who knows her.

Are your hands quite lined? Victoria’s are! This is not as a result of age or being so thin, it’s a reflection of the fact that she thinks A LOT, that she has developed many different ways to respond to life. She is resourceful and a creative thinker.

Her career line (light blue on picture) has a healthy start based on what she wants and desires, and follows through straight and clear until it hits her heart line where it all but stops. This shows that she is very career focussed, a hard worker who follows through until her heart gets in the way. She will give up her career, bring a stop to it, to meet the needs of those she loves. The difficulty is that the drive to fulfil her desires will still be there and after a time she will begin to resent her loved ones even if they never asked her to give up her desires for them.

you have any callouses? She has a callous below her heartline (black ring on picture), under her ring finger which is indicative of the needs of her heart “blocking” her desire for fame, appreciation and applause, and the spotlight (Her high set ring finger shows that she puts a lot of effort into trying to get these things).

Victoria Beckham's Left Hand

She has a second lifeline (green) that is tied to her headline (dark blue) showing that she also has a VERY traditional side a bit like Simon Cowell, and given the lifeline from here is much longer she is likely to follow through on her traditional beliefs about her role as a parent and wife much more so than her momentary sojourns into independent action. It’s tough to have 2 sides of yourself pulling in opposite directions! [Like Simon Cowell she also has the cross between head and heartline showing she feels unsupported in her pursuit of the spotlight; it’s ll up to her.]

These are the signs of the modern woman:

How can I become all I want to be, fulfil all my desires and still fulfil the role of a wonderful mother and loving wife? It’s a constant balancing act that so very many of us live with day to day. If I do my career, my family suffers.

If I take care of my family the way I want to, my personal dreams are unfulfilled.

This is further echoed by the fact that the top of her index finger curves to her middle finger. Does yours stand straight or curve too? This is a sign of not taking actions on her dreams, compromising on what she wants. Her middle finger curves toward her ring finger showing that she is worried about what is right and what is wrong. Thinking, thinking all the time. Is what I am doing for my family the right thing? Is what I’m doing for my career wrong? This can make her indecisive and struggle to know what to value.

She has a small lower section on her little finger which shows that she struggles to trust, to be vulnerable with herself and others. Also, her heartline (in red) is that of a person who cares about others although she is reserved about it and keeps her feelings to herself.

Victoria struggles to find life fun. She is a worrier, a tightrope walker and she worries about her security and safety, which she puts a lot of effort into having, along with her pursuit of the spotlight (which tends to get derailed by her fear of being vulnerable). For us to be able to laugh and have fun we need to be able to feel secure, not to worry and just lighten up.

THE VENUS STAR – A Gift Marker

Victoria has a Venus star (in pink) in the muscular section of her hand below her thumb. This is a gift marker. Gift markers come along to put extra pressure on us to use the gifts we have. When we don’t use that gift we experience the penalty. The Venus gift marker is about the gift of finding the delight in life but the penalty is life is serious, life is no fun.

From all that is showing up in Victoria’s hands right now she seems to be living the penalty of this gift and it is part of her purpose to learn how to have fun. The desire for children is probably a part of that gift along with her traditional thinking, and the desire for a daughter was probably to relieve the loneliness she feels. Through her children she may learn to enjoy life the way they do. Children have this wonderful capacity to find the delight
in life, delight in the little things; they see things for the first time and are delighted by them. When we begin to see things through our children’s eyes we too begin to see how going through a tunnel, driving over a bridge, seeing a
horse ”pooping” in middle of the pomp and ceremony of parading before the Queen, all huge fun.

The Venus star is about adopting the attitude of a person who is thrilled to be alive each and every day and live life with joy and laughter, delight and fun. It’s about learning to stop trying to control that which we have no control over and simply choosing to see life as a cup that is half full, not half empty; appreciate what is in front of us not what we might have in the future or lamenting about what we don’t have.

A high set middle finger (in purple) shows that security and safety are very important to Victoria and when she doesn’t get enough of them she feels insecure and feels unworthy.

Feeling safe and secure are big motivators for her.

Her high set ring finger (in purple) shows how important attention, appreciation and applause are to her. They too are big motivators for her. When she doesn’t get enough it leaves her feeling needy, being too nice and making sure that she has “not a hair out of place”. Next time I see her so perfectly turned out I’ll know she hasn’t been getting enough attention for her needs! She might try giving herself some appreciation and applause for her efforts instead of looking outside herself for acknowledgement.

Her low set little finger shows that no matter how much she gets she will never feel she gets enough closeness, understanding and being heard, so she will echo the reserved aspect of her heartline (in red) by withdrawing; she won’t say what she needs and thus will feel quite lonely.

The answer to this is to listen to her heart, pay attention to what her emotions tell her about what matters to her, what she needs and then base her choices in life about what her own needs and values are rather than trying to do the “right” thing. Everyone has such different opinions, how can trying to please others ever work out?

She needs to question her traditional beliefs and values and ask if
they are really her beliefs and values or whether they are simply those she conveniently grew up with. Who says they are right? She and her family live a very different life to the one she grew up with, perhaps the beliefs and values she grew up with simply don’t work in their circumstances. Does she want her children to grow up feeling life is no fun, serious and much to worry about?

Does she want her little girl to grow up feeling she has to give up her desires and wants for the love in her life?

Our children model their beliefs, values and behaviour on our own so as women when we put ourselves aside for what we think are the needs of our family, we teach our children to put their needs aside too. This is not healthy for the individuals involved nor for the world.

We need a world where we each live our life purposes, where we each listen to the dream in our heart and do our best to manifest it for ourselves and the world. Making ourselves small does not serve anyone.

We need to model to our children how to follow our dreams, be the best version of ourselves we can be and fulfil our life purpose. We all want our children to be happy. Well, teach them to be happy by learning that for yourself. True happiness comes when our inner, deepest desires are reflected in our everyday lives, the way we live them and the way we respond to what life throws at us.
Victoria needs to get in touch with what the deepest part of herself wants, and to do this requires quiet time whether that is through meditation, walking on the beach, lying in a peaceful space listening to music without words or throwing pots on a potter’s wheel. The mode does not matter, what matters is to stop thinking about the mundane and simply be and then see what thoughts arise, what insights come up. Simply notice them and then let them go without judgement.

For an over thinker like Victoria an effective way would be to use the method outlined in The Artist’s Way of journaling a stream of consciousness every morning. A very effective method for the busy, busy mind to uncover underlying, unacknowledged beliefs and desires that may be sabotaging your conscious efforts. Deal with them and your conscious efforts will become more effective.

She is a person who wants to understand, a thinker. She can be rational, analytical, thoughtful and considerate, objective for others, lots of great ideas but also aloof, putting herself in an ivory tower (feels divorced from reality given her bent top middle finger), judgemental and fault finding probably more with herself than anyone else.

She is also emotional, empathetic, sensitive, caring and deeply intuitive. She can probably get along with pretty much anyone she meets provided she doesn’t feel vulnerable. The other side is that she can e overly sensitive, struggle with boundaries between my and your needs or wants, and be a bit of a martyr.

I bet her hands would be full of gift markers if I printed them. Another one I noticed is lines of genius which is about having a gift of being able to take concepts/ideas others may struggle to grasp and turn them into easy to understand language for the rest of us. It shows a gift for communication whatever form that takes for her (e.g. marketing). She needs a ”message” though, something she is sharing with the world, what she really believes in, e.g. a woman can look good without having to spend a fortune, otherwise she will find herself in penalty which will be busy, busy achieving nothing. No free time, lots of distractions but nothing concrete coming out of her efforts.

She has an enlarged Venus area which echoes her Venus star and shows that fashion is a perfect world for her to specialise in. She loves beautiful things and is good at figuring out what is beautiful and how to make things look lovely. Fashion is an archetypal Venus area but it is about FUN, delighting in things so she needs to learn how to do that.

She has a straight edge to the side of her hand under her little finger which shows that she tends to rationalise her intuition, but given she has another gift marker called the gifted problem solver this is okay as long as she is listening to her intuition. She is welcome to then logically prove the answer she intuited in order to be able to make sense of her intuition. Not using her ability to find solutions to problems has the penalty of making her make mountains out of molehills elsewhere in her life. When she starts blowing up issues that relate to her family or kids and trying to “fix” things that will probably come right on their own given time then it is a sign she needs to get
out in the world and find a big problem to solve, probably something around ashion and making ourselves look good. People with this gift marker tend to live in penalty until around the age of 42…
